Hi Julie
Thanks for the email. I did email you when we got home to thank you for a lovely stay, and comment on how wonderful the weather was, but you may not have got it. Thanks also for the great beach chairs and new sunbeds. We certainly used them.
Our friends liked the villa very much. We will certainly be back, but will come for two weeks next time.
Mar Y Monte was fabulous again, great steaks and now opened a lovely outdoor terrace at the back.
Thank you again
Will be in touch. Have a good summer.

Stayed with friends & their children. Such an easy place, fab layout with good sized bedrooms & living/dining room & the beds are comfy. Garden was pretty with lovely plants; one side has a wall protecting you from the small, very quiet road & another side has lovely palm type plants separating the garden from the neighbouring farmer's field & then the great private pool with easy steps to get in & out. The kitchen was well equipped (thankfully with a dishwasher). Lots of cooking utensils, pots, pans and casseroles; this is excellent as some places I've stayed have been minimal. Oh & a great bar-b-q out in the garden. The garden was the perfect size for the kids to run around & play bat & ball & tag, still allowing us adults space to sit on the loungers. It was still lovely hot weather in October so we spent a lot of time in the pool which was a great size for six adults & children; the children loved having their own pool. There was also a wooden cupboard near the front door that had some children's toys in like bat and ball, footballs, etc. Location and amenity wise: The villa, one of four villas well spaced away from each other. Two minute walk gets you to a lovely pine forest which we went walking in most days; a local resident living nearby told us it was the largest natural pine forest in Europe, although they said there was a fire a few years ago which has reduced its size but we really liked walking in it. The beach was a 10min drive & is stunning. It's vast so it was never overcrowded. Lovely soft sand & if you are there at sunset as we were one day, well it is just beautiful & a must see. We went to a great grill/pizza restaurant just a few mins drive away which was recommended by the owners in their info folder but also by other guests in the comments book. Excellent food & good service and a very 'amusing' owner. We also went to a hotel in the local town El Colorado for breakfast a couple of times, lovely coffee & really friendly service. We noticed a 'Go Ape' type place on the way to the beach; didn't try it as we didn't have time but reviews in the comment book say it's very well run. We got most food in a brill little local grocers shop just a 10 minute walk away. We also went shopping to San Fernanda. Went to look around Vejer de la Frontera - a beautiful little town up in the mountains. Gibraltar was only an hours drive. One day we went to Cadiz which was a nice town. This is a lovely villa in a lovely location, we will be back.

This is our second stay at this villa. Very relaxing in a comfortable villa, in a quiet area not too far from the beaches. Everything you need for a good holiday. Would recommend. — Jo, 22 Sep 2013
Dear Julie, we had a great holiday in your villa. It´s a beautiful place. When we came back from a trip it was so enjoyable, returning to this quiet place with the wonderful pool, the large garden and the shadowy place outside. Hazel was a very good support concerning all questions we had. We´ve thought about returning next year. Best regards, Iris and Jörg

Dear Julie, At last, I'm getting round to catching up on my emails! We had a fantastic fortnight at your lovely villa - the villa itself is perfect, so well equipped and in a wonderful location. We had a few great nights at the El Caserio! Thanks for accomodating us at such late notice. We love the Costa de la Luz; we were in Campano last year, but I have to say I really liked this location. Many thanks again.

Dear Julie, Thank you very much for your email, and sorry for my delay in replying. We had such a lovely time in your villa, thank you very much. It was a great place to relax, really well catered and beautiful surroundings. It was our first time to the area and we loved it so would definitely go back. The heat wave was incredible too! I'll forward your email on to the other girls to see if they have any suggestions for improvements but to be honest I can't think of any. Al the best, Sophie — Sophie, 24 Jun 2013
Hi Julie Thanks for your email. We had a really lovely holiday thanks. We were saying when we were out there that we would consider coming back. The beach is soo lovely. Hi Julie, I just wanted to say we had a fabulous week at your gorgeous villa last week (despite a rather stressful start with a missed flight!) Anyway we made it in the end, The villa was great and Hazel lovely. We really did not want to come home and are definitely looking at a return visit at some point. I'll definitely go online to the website to tell everyone how fab your villa was. There really arn't any suggestions on improvements as we found the Villa to be fantastically well equipped with really everything we would need (the coolbox was a brilliant addition for trips to the beach). Kind Regards Helen xx

It is just as the owner show in the pictures and describe in the web. We love the 15 days we spent in the Villa. Our girls have a lot of fun in the pool and the garden. I recomend to visit the beaches of El Palmar, Zahara de los Atunes, Roche.. Have a dinner in La Fontanilla restaurant, very good food and views...and you also can spend the day in the beach..very nice. Towns to visit: Conil,Vejer,Tarifa... We love Cadiz, and we would love to repeat at this Villa.

We stayed for two weeks, a family of 5 children 11, 10 & 8, and it was just what we needed. The place is nicely separted from the few other properties near it, just off road. The pool was great for the children (and us bigger kids), rooms were spacious with a decent living room/diner, although we always ate outside on the patio. You do need a car to get to anywhere but thats what makes it nice and quiet and the beaches are only a short drive away anyway. There are lots of different beaches so I guess you would find one to suit easy enough. Also there are a number of places to visit relatively near. We liked Vejer and got a guided tour, just the 5 of us for 10 Euro from the ticket office. We would also recomment the whale and dolphin trip from Tariffa bit of a trek but worth it. Closer to home Conil is a really nice resort with a number of excellent restaurants. We would definitely recommend this place

Good Morning Julie, Thank you for your email. We had a fabulous time as always and thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility your beautiful home provides. Just what was needed - although having now been back at work a week it seems a distant memory!!! In respect of any suggestions I don't really have anything to add. We found it perfect for us. Look forward to hearing from you about our return next year. Kind regards Gayle — Gayle, 09 Jul 2011
Dear Julie, thank you very much indeed again for another wonderful holiday and that everything went so well again. When we arrived we noticed the nice new comfortable leather sofas, the brilliant new barbecue in the garden and that everything was so clean and fresh - it was a wonderful atmosphere and very comfortable indeed! Thank you very much for the beach towels, too, as we hadn't brought any in our somewhat limited Ryanair hand luggage! That was just very kind of you. We would love to spend another holiday at your villa. Holger and Julia Frech Sparkasse Köln-Bonn — Holger & Julia, 19 May 2011
We've just returned from 12 wonderful days at the Costa de la Luz - sunny and warm weather and those stunning beaches ... just perfect. We found the very spacious villa well-maintained and perfectly well-equipped, especially for a family of five (young kids), there were even toys for our kids and a small English library for us. The large garden and the clean pool were ideal for our kids to run around and play while we enjoyed siestas, beautiful sunsets and a glass of wine ... The location is very convenient, too, it's very quiet and just a 5-minutes drive into Conil, Roche and the beaches, and a good store ("Manolo") is even within walking distance. The owners "manager" lives next door and was very friendly and helpful, too, e.g. when we asked for an additional towels or a gas bottle they were immediatly delivered to the villa, the grass was cut, the pool cleaned etc. etc. To cut it short, if you have children this is very good value for money and we can recommend it without any hesitation. We'll come back in 2011! Julia, Holger, Jan (8), Anna (6) and Lulu (3) from Germany, April 2010

Hi Julie We had a great time and would certainly consider visiting the villa again. Everything was great and worked so well for us as a family, thank you. We will certainly recommend it to friends and family! Thanks again for a very enjoyable holiday. Carol — Carol, 02 Oct 2010
My family and I had a fantastic holiday at Casa Jual in 2009. The local beaches are beautiful and there were lots of opportunities for sightseeing at local towns. We found the villa to be very clean, comfortable and well equipped including lots of equipment for our children. Isobel, the property manager, was extremely helpful if we needed her and she also has a wealth of local knowledge which is great when planning trips, activities or a meal out. She also proved invaluable when we needed to use the local medical centre, as she went there with us, not only to show us the way but also to help translate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Jual and will most definitely be coming back soon.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Its so traditionally Spanish and the setting is beautiful. The Villa is fully equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday. The pool is also a bit hit and with three kids, 7 8 and 10 its safe and accessible. The grounds are very well maintained as is the whole villa. Locally there are supermarkets, authentic restaurants and the biggest hit for us was the miles and miles of sandy beach. This was perfect for evening bbq's and just chilling out. We have really enjoyed our holidays and have been back a number of years and each time something new is added. Highly recommended.

Thanks for an excellent holiday Julie. Our stay in July, three adults and two children was one of our best. The whole villa and gardens are so spacious you never feel overcrowded. The villa's location was perfect for us, quiet enough to be restful and close enough to some excellent beaches and towns when the need took us for some entertainment. We visited an great water park only a 40 minute drive away, the kids loved it. And Roche beach was stunning, we visited a couple of times at different times of the day and it just never got crowded. An drinks in the bar overlooking the beach at sunset produced some amazing photographs. An excellent stay, loved every second of it and will definitely be back. Thanks.

We went on a holiday of four thirty-something women. We spent alternate days lounging and taking trips in the car. The property was clean and well-maintained and the kitchen had everything we needed. The days we stayed at the villa were very relaxing - lounging on the loungers (the strong breeze was particularly welcome in the height of summer), cooling down in the pool, firing up the barbeque in the evenings, and knocking back some chilled sherry. We had a memorable trips to Jerez and Gibraltar, and also made it down to the local beach one evening for sunset and dinner in the very good and relatively formal restaurant.

HI Julie we actually had the best holiday ever!,chicken pox only came out on Friday before we came home Tuesday so didn't have chance to ruin holiday, we did have a bit of a nightmare though... my daughter kind of fell through that big tall climbing frame in play area no injury but set the theme the next day she fell through the bridge and put 4 teeth through her lip, then she walked into the outside table twice and knocked herself out, then she got the corner of the sofa on her cheek bone and had a black eye and then we had a call to say my Nan has died and then my daugher got chicken pox!... but in reality it was one of the holidays I've ever had I loved the area/ beaches and the villa was great couldn't have asked for more it was the first time as a family we had booked a villa privately and I was very impressed, everything went so smoothly, I am glad to be home as I have had enough of applying sunblock to kids!! if I can write a review I will write a glowing report as it was just amazing, I'm more of a Greece sort of person with the thought of a Costa del sol holiday being my idea of hell so to come to Spain really was quite a hard decision made only by the fact I couldn't cope with kids on a 4 hr flight but to be honest I was over joyed once we arrived it was my idea of heaven, not a chav in sight! and all of us said we would like to come back soon which was amazing as my dad was worried it would be too quiet but the balance is just right. My daugher is ok now she had it relatively badly but the health centre in conil was great and she was given some medicine which cost £1 and it removed all the spots which hadn't blistered so I was actually glad she got them in Spain! as my doctor doesn't give out medication unless your dying and even then he says take a paracetamol like they are magic! Isobel and Tony (property managers) are also brilliant such a lovely couple im amazed they were so nice its quite unusual to meet people who actually put themsleves out to help, sorry to ramble on im just shocked I had a holiday I couldn't fault, my Spanish needs improving though one night we all had double egg and chips as a starter instead of chips as a side order! thank you for a lovely holiday and as I wrote in your book I am so pleased we decided on your villa as Roche was perfect! we would love to come back soon. thanks again. best regards Jayne — Jayne, 08 Jun 2009
Our family has stayed at this lovely villa four times in the last few years and have found it perfect for our needs with a young family of three children. We would love to keep it a secret , really! Its in a friendly Spanish speaking area, the locals are very accommodating . Good local shops, reasonably priced restaurants ,despite the fluctuating euro! The villa is simply furnished but has everything you could want, including toys and a sun tent.A very well equipped kitchen should you wish to cook and a BBQ.We have always found it very clean ,stocked well with towels and a welcome pack. The pool being fenced was the main factor that made us choose the villa and the peaceful location. Very easy to travel to and from airports at Jerez and Seville. Lots of things to see and do within an hour or so by car.The beaches are amazing and fairly quiet mon to fri, and no irritating amusements!Lovely people next door, who are English and speak Spanish should you need any help or directions. We hope to visit again next year.

Spent a very relaxed and enjoyable week at this villa last July. The villa is lovely with everything you need, including a fully functional kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and a large lounge. The garden is large, again with everything you need, including a large table and benches in shade, a barbecue, loungers, and a fantastic swimming pool, which is fenced (ideal for families with children). The property is surrounded by high walls, gate and trees adding privacy to the long list of positives. Roche beach and the restaurant are well worth a visit. There are shops nearby, and supermarkets a short drive away. I would definately recommend this villa, and hope to be able to visit again sometime soon.

This villa was excellent for our needs. We were a group of friends and it was really comfortable; the decent sized rooms and a large garden and pool didn't make it feel overcrowded. There is a good grocery shop (Manolos) a 10 minute walk away with excellent fresh fruit and veg. A very peaceful place to stay with beautiful beaches and a small town only 10 minutes drive away. The local Roche beach is large and I've never been there and found it crowded and the kids loved the waves for body boarding. I've enjoyed it enough to return a number of times, once in the winter when although the pool wasn't useable the garden attracts the winter sun and the open fire was lovely in the evenings - the local pine forest providing nice walks and pine cones for the fire. The neighbours living permanently in a nearby villa were really helpful as well making us feel really welcome and providing lots of local knowledge. There are some great towns only a short drive away - one particularly pretty town up in the hills called Vejer de la Frontera, a beach town, Barbate, with some excellent fish restaurants and a little further along the coast is Tarifa, a beach so huge (long and wide) it has to be seen, we enjoyed wachng people learning how to kite-surf. We also drove to Jerez for he day to visit a sherry bodega and we drove to Gibraltar and had a full day of sightseeing there. I've had some great holidays at this villa and it's location has been perfect for exploring some of the large Spanish cities (Jerez, Seville, Cadiz) and smaller inland and coastal towns, and some restiful days by the pool.
